"There's somebody down in the center of the ship," replied Auros. "They're melting their way into the core, and I gotta keep this ship from getting any more damaged." He started to walk down a flight of twisted stairs. "Let's go."
Chevron couldn't say anything else before the ship they all stood in started to noticeably rumble.
Iron had found the power source of the ship, and he began tearing into it without hesitation. However, each strike with his bladed arms wasn't meant to disable the machine, it was meant to overwork it. He placed each cutting swing and pummeling punch meant to starve the engine of feedback, make it think it wasn't meeting energy demands of the ship. Satisfied with his work, Iron turned back and ran straight out as the ship's power source slowly started to break itself apart.
"The fuck did I say earlier? Get the fuck offa my goddamn leg!" Auros barked, pushing upwards and toppling her over with brute force. A swift kick to the side and she was down. For the moment anyway. He held his blaster to Chevron's head, and said, in a cool voice:
"I don't want any more trouble, y'hear? I'm trying to be the nice guy in this situation, but you just keep coming at me. And I just can't have that. I'm in dire straits as it is, what with my ship being torn apart as we speak." He paused, took a deep breath, and went on:
"Now, please tell me what your beef is with me. Who are you, and who sent you?" He turned his blaster up a couple notches, in case worse came to worse.
The rumbling around him grew worse with each second. He heard a deep bellow from the energy source in the bowels of the ship. It sounded like the ship could break apart at any moment. Just what he needed.
"Well, shit, I think this baby's about to blow. He ran back to the controls, and began to disconnect Rebecca from the panels. Implanting a portable version of the A.I. in one of his jacket's pockets, he directed the others towards an exit. "Come on, this ship's gonna blow any second now!"
"What!?" Iron was taken off-guard, he didn't expect anyone to follow or notice him. Acting on instinct, he opened up his Metal and fired his particle cannon at the sand, throwing up some sand and super-heating the rest into glass to serve as a barrier between Iron and Mercy.
"Don't you know it's rude to attempt genocide...?" Iron jumped right back up gave Copal a glare that could kill, "Gem scum!" Iron fired a concentrated blast at Copal, knocking him all the way back to the rumbling ship.
Rubellite noticed the interesting fight going on outside, and the shaking of the smoking ship. She crawled out the window, jumping down and walking toward the fight. Whoever won was going to have a great time fighting her.
Rubellite didn't care about explosions, they were fun. She was already scratched, and she was fine. She mostly wanted to see the deaths of those people in the shop. She was sparking just thinking about it, electricity arcin off of her and onto the ground.
"You heard my 'Gem scum' comment and you ignored what I said about Genocide!?" Iron yelled, knowing he was short on both patience and time. This girl may be a Gem sympathizer, but she was still a human that called Earth home. "Gems don't care about life, or how much of it dies when they have their way! Millions of people dead means nothing to them!"
Copal teleported behind Iron and quickly gave him a pat on the head "Well, If you die in this explosion that'll be ANOTHER body for the pile!" Copal said before he pushed Iron into the exit of the ship.
Copal then quickly teleported away while giving Iron a smug look.
"See ya on the other side!" Copal yelled in the distance.
