((Okay, This RP takes place when Mercy is doing her college classes and is being stalked by an unknown someone. It will most likely turn into a murder-mystery kind of thing. So have fun and dive right on in as either a student or a teacher, maybe other things as well {Let me know if its something different and I'll see if I can approve it.}
But remember, this is a serious RP. So don't make shit too unrealistic. Cheers!))


 

[Altruvolant]

Dioptase had her chin resting in the palm of her hand as she twirled a pencil with the fingers on her other. The light from a lamp sitting on her desk illuminated the pages of her textbook, her eyes skimmed over the words for something that might pertain to the questions she had to answer. It was 12:00 a.m. and she had no classes tomorrow, which was nice, but Mercy still wasn't back. It wasn't like Dioptase was worried, it was just unusual for a goody two-shoes like Mercy to be out this late.

Mercy ran up the stairs quickly and went to the room she and Dio shared. She opened it and closed the door quickly, then went towards the bathroom.

She was breathing heavily and her face was pale as a sheet, eyes wide and mouth agape as she took deep breaths.

[Altruvolant]

Dioptase placed the pencil in the gutter of her textbook and twisted her torso to look back at Mercy, "What's up with you?" she asked with a quizzical expression.

Mercy couldn't say anything, she just ran to the bathroom and shut the door. A few seconds later, sound of throwing up and retching could be heard.

[Altruvolant]

Dioptase was thoroughly disturbed, she got up and knocked on the bathroom door, "Have you been drinking, Mercy?"

After a few moments, Mercy called through the door. "Running, I've been running, thats all. I don't drink."

[Altruvolant]

"My guess was that you were a light-weight." Dioptase jested. "Why were you running at 12 in the morning?" she jiggled the doorknob.

[roselight13]

Mercy coughed, then the sound of shuffling came through the door. "I was being chased by someone." The door opened and Mercy came out, going over to her bed and flopping onto it.

"Jesus! My ribs hurt."

[Altruvolant]

"By who?" Dioptase felt skeptical.

[roselight13]

Mercy huffed. "I have no idea. I was walking here from that book shop I like, the one that doesn't close until 11:00. I was walking back and I kept hearing someone following me. I turned around and no one was there. I kept walking, then heard the footsteps again. I turned around quickly and saw someone dodge into an alley. I started running and I heard them following after.

"So I pretty much zig-zagged around town, trying to get away and making sure he didn't know where we lived."

She closed her eyes and breathed deeply. "And it was freaky as fuck."

[Altruvolant]

"I feel as if you were just hallucinating or being paranoid."

Mercy closed her eyes and sighed. "Maybe, maybe not Dio. I have been on edge for a while and the stress of the classes may be getting to me."

She thought to herself. Then again...she was very sure that she was being followed.

"Well, at least I got a workout out of it." She chuckled as she got up and changed into her pajamas. "So hows your homework going? Need any help?"

[Altruvolant]

"Uh-" Dioptase plopped herself back down in her chair "-If you know European history."

"well, I know some. What era are you working on? Maybe I can help."
