Spoiler Alert:
Well this was an okay episode, seeing the other band of Misfits whom Onion calls his friends. Not as somewhat disturbing (in a good way) as Onion Friend was though.
I wonder if we will get to see more of Garbanzo, Pinto, Soup, and Squash? Knowing the series habit of sometimes making supposed one-timers have a surprising number of reappearances, I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Also, did anyone else notice how Soup looks a lot like the main player character from Undertale? Even though I don't exactly like Undertale that much, I find it suspicious that this happens on an episode that was released on the very day of Undertale's 1-year anniversary (which all my friends have been talking about).

This episode was pretty okay. A decent 7/10. It felt like the kids from Clarence crossed with the kids in a generic horror film went to Beach City. When they asked Steven to smash the bug, I was thinking, "One of us, one of us, gooble-gobble-gooble-gobble!"

Yeah, most of the Onion-centered episodes I've noticed aren't the best. Onion is a creep and he doesn't have as much else going for him, which is a problem. Although Lars isn't exactly a nice guy either, but he just wants to be left alone. He isn't as forward with it as Onion.
I don't think that Onion has had one positive effect on the world around him so far. Yes, he did give Steven some of his action figures, but that was after he stole one from Steven, spent the entire episode refusing to give it back, and taking a replicator wand that ended up going into a battle.
What really bothers me about Onion is that almost every episode about him wants me to feel sorry about him, usually after he's doing something horrible. I mean in almost every scene he's in, he's doing something immoral or illegal because that's his character, I guess. And he hasn't done much else to make him redeemable for his actions.
Although he didn't really do anything bad in Onion Gang, by this point I'm so turned off of his character that I can't get invested in his episodes, or feel sorry for him when his friends are leaving because the summer is over. Onion Friend came close, but not exactly cutting it. This one, not as close.
Lars on the other hand, any episode that has him acting like a jerk doesn't really want me to feel sorry for him. In fact, with Lars it's more like they want me to think that he was a jerk when he really wasn't. Except for Island Adventure, but don't remind me of that one, Please.
Yeah, 7 out of 10 for this one for me too.
