Since there are so many image edits out there, I'm making this thread telling you how to spot fake ass shit.1. Blurred ImagesIt's most likely purposely blurred to hide details that may signal red flags like what people do with Bigfoot footage.2. The TV Screen EffectBasically, when you take a picture of your TV and it's sort of rainbowy, yeah. Especially if the same TV shot is used over and over again by different people.3. Different Art StylesIf the art style does not look the same as the ones from the show or episode preview/leak then it's fake. 4. Awkward PosesSometimes people tend to draw awkward poses that contort limbs unrealistically. Gems, even though they can do that, don't unless under special circumstances.5. Same BackgroundPeople will often take the background used in the preview, or one similar, and use it for their image edits, and even though different actions are being displayed, it's always that same background. 6. Later New Steven Universe RectangleThis is shown in every single image edit I see, which would make sense if major events weren't in the promo.7. PromoImage edits play off as if they were from a promo, I thought CN learned their lesson after the first one.Fake ass shit.Idk how to feel about this one. Amethyst looks a little weird but the background is actually different, and it isn't from a "promo".
