Biography:
Hessonite was deployed during the late Homeworld Civil War. He was a part of a small unit that covered air support on troops below. Hess was flying the airship and firing on rebels below, but a Crystal Gem had sabotaged their ship, causing the back end to blow off and sending his crew flying. The fall had shattered their gems. Hess was lucky enough to make it to a body of water to crash in before losing too much altitude. After the retreat, Hess decided to disobey orders and remain on Earth to hunt down every last Crystal Gem, corrupted or not.
Despite Hess's carelessness for humans, he had a strange and unexplained curiosity for their engineering, despite the primitive nature of them. During his stay on Earth, he collected an old Peacemaker that he made his signature execution weapon, using modified human bullets to shatter the rebel gems or corrupted gems he meets. He also donned human clothing after being on Earth for a long period of time, gradually accepting some aspects of their culture. Hess uses old Homeworld tech that allows him to use multiple weapons. However, it was discontinued due to the inconvenience of gem placement and removal and the inability to fuse once applied.
