HISTORY
Biography:
Schorl was the first King on Homeworld to unite it under one common goal. Extending it's reach to the stars. Back at this point in time he was hardly the size of two men, but was the best at combat in the land. Homeworld had been converted into a shell, the effort it took to build armies drained the planet, and now it was nothing more then metal and dust, balling together in a wire frame of what the planet used to be. Schorl was one of the first gems to attempt to go into space.
His mission failed miserably.
The ship exploded in the planet's orbit, propelling gems every which direction. All gems landed back on Homeworld, and either shattered or poofed on impact, except two. Diamond, managed to land on the planet's surface unharmed, and rose to power in the absence of Schorl, who was shot into deep space.
Almost a million years later, a small group containing a quartz, a peridot, a pearl and an emerald landed on a small moon to set up a small kindergarten.
That moon was Schorl.
He never stopped growing, he aged, and time went on, and he lost his mind in space. He grew to sizes unimaginable. A diamond, not the same one that had taken control of Homeworld, but a different one several generations down, ordered the capture and weaponisation of Schorl. And so Schorl became the planet destroyer he is today.
