The tables seem to have turned for our heroes. The threads of Fate have become entangled. The plot thickens, as the old saying goes.
The animation in this episode was pretty normal, but the designs for the moon base were quite unique. I especially liked the scenes where Peridot nerdgasms over the old technology and murals of the Diamonds.
When the Crystal Gems were about to kick Peridot's ass for dissing Rose Quartz, I was at the same time impressed and reminded of myself when I was younger. I used to get into super-heated arguments with others--you guys have seen me at my worst--and this is often how it ended up, with everyone involved wanting to beat the shit out of me and send me flying, and I'd be sitting there without a clue.
The end was perhaps the best part. The cliffhanger merits this episode a solid 10/10. What lies in wait for our heroes next? We will have to wait and see.
What did you think, ladies and gents?

Excellent. Peridot was adorable when she sang. And it proves that anyone can sing with practice. At least to me its proved.
Good episode, But I do wonder whats to come, especially with that Lapis lazuli thing. Still don't get it. But oh well
I just hope Peridot is still able to redeem herself

I think that Peridot is really bad at hiding things.

The more I consider it, Peridot has a point. From her perspective, it does seem likely that the earth will be destroyed sooner or later, and that Rose in fact "delayed the inevitable."
And that raises the question: why choose Earth when there are probably dozens of rockier planets? There have been bacteria on Mars, and Mars does have liquid water, so why not choose Mars as a colony?

They wanted to use every resource they could suck out of the planet.
